Accreditation Conversation
After Level Two, those coaches wishing to continue on to Level Three and full IEC Accreditation are invited to meet with the Institute to engage in an ‘Accreditation Conversation’. The purpose of this conversation is to assess suitability for further development, and provide feedback on progress to date.
 
3.1 Level Three - Pre-Work

Prior to commencement of Level Three, each participant is required to engage in preparatory work. Details are provided on registration.

 
3.2 Level Three Training - Course Content

At the end of Level Three, you will have developed your coaching artistry to be equipped to coach in;

  • Authentic leadership,
  • Personal mastery,
  • Signature presence,
  • Narrative coaching,
  • Values-based leadership,
  • Political savvy and personal empowerment,
  • Group coaching,
  • Coaching teams.
 
3.3   Level Three - Course Details
The course comprises:
  • A three day intensive workshop,
  • A take-home exam to assess learning,
  • Monthly coaching supervision sessions* (minimum of five to gain accreditation, then a minimum of two per year to maintain it, first year at no charge),
  • An Action Learning Project,
  • Ongoing professional development sessions through the Institute’s Alumni Community of Practice (one year membership included in course fee).

* For those based outside of Sydney and Melbourne, supervision sessions will be available via teleconferencing, and certification can be completed in this way.

Investment AU$3,200 plus GST ($3,520 including GST).

 
 
3.4 Accreditation

IEC Accreditation is granted on successful completion of the Levels One, Two and Three.

A minimum of two peer supervision sessions are required each year to maintain IEC Accreditation.

 
3.5  Continuous Professional Development
IEC Accreditation is maintained through regular participation in the Institute’s program of continuous professional development and attendance at a minimum of two peer supervision sessions is required each year. See Community of Practice for more information on Alumni Events.
 
3.6  Other Accreditation Options

After the completion of the Institute’s Level One and Two courses, you will have enough coach training hours to apply for a credential from the International Coach Federation (ICF) as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), following their Portfolio Certification Track (you will also need 100 hours of coaching, logged).

After completion of the Institute’s Level Three, you will have enough coach training hours to apply for the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential with ICF (you will also need 750 hours of coaching, logged), and you can apply for this using the ACTP track (no further exams are required).
